My Lush Favourites

Lush is simply amazing. Their are just too many products to choose from. Here are some of my recent faves.

Ultra Violet Bubble Bar £4.75

My favourite bubble to date, this bubble bar smells like parma violets. The shop assistant said I could get about four uses out of the bar but I have used it five times and probably could if managed six uses. This is my No.1 lush product.

Aqua Marina Cleanser £6.75 (100g)

Aqua Marina is a cleanser which is very clay like in texture, but a little water is needed when used. The secret to applying the product correctly is to apply the seaweed on dry areas of the face. I really love this cleanser and will definitely continue with its use.

Titsy Topsy Bath Bomb £3.25

My favourite bath bomb, not to overpowering in smell and literally smells divine. A white bath bomb with a few roses, a little plain looking once dissolved but, one of the best smelling bath bombs.

Knits, Coats & Boots

This post features my recent winter purchases for this freaky cold weather. All the clothes other than the jumper dress, which is from Asos.com, are from House of Fraser.

Vila Zip Detail Jumper Dress £26

I have always wanted to a jumper dress and I finally plucked up the courage to get one. I simply love the rib knit throughout the design, as it is simple. The wool is so soft and comfy, not the usual itchy wool, as their is a 50% cotton 50% acrylic blend. The dress is excellent quality and has not bobbled yet, after a few wears.

Label Lab Oversized Rib Sleeve Jumper, was £75 now £22.50

This jumper is soft, cosy and comfortable, all qualities I love in knitwear. This jumper is superb quality for the price and it is excellent value. Available in grey and black, this oversized jumper can be matched up perfectly with skinny jeans (ripped or normal) or comfy black leggings.

St. Martins Miranda Grey Coat, was £149 now £59.60

This beautiful structured coat is at an unbelievable price, is perfect to be worn for any occasion. The belt around the waist just adds detail to what is an amazing quality coat, which will go with anything. I love this coat so much, my favourite way to wear this coat is fully open, no zip, so the look is just classy and runway ready.

UGG Australia Dandylion Boots, was £160 now £110

I fell in love with these boots straight away, so comfy to walk in even with the 2 3/4'' heel. There is also fur inside the boot where the toes and ball of the feet are, so they should never be cold. They are available in black and chestnut. I have black which is unusual for me as all my UGG's are chestnut. Hopefully these pair can last as well as my other three pairs.

New Make-Up

I know that it has been a while since my last post, but I have just been really busy with coursework and exams. So here is my first post of the year, featuring new make up I have discovered and enjoyed over the last couple of months.

Urban Decay Naked Flushed Palette in Streak £22

I am slightly obsessed with Urban Decay, I have their Naked 2 and Naked Basics eye-shadow palettes. Now I have their Naked Flushed Palette in streak, also available in naked, strip and native, this palette has a bronzer, highlighter and blush all in one small and travel friendly compact. I simply love this product, as the bronzer is not too dark for my fair skin tone, the blush however, is highly pigmented so not much is needed and the colour is great and I love the rosy pink highlighter. It just gives the right amount of shimmer.

Bare Minerals Bare Skin Foundation £26

I have always wanted to try this product out since its release last year and I am very pleased by with this product. They say you only need 3 drops for a full face of foundation with their perfecting face brush manufactured specifically for the foundation. Three drops does cover a full face, but I do prefer a medium to full coverage so I use between 4-6 drops. My colour is Bare Ivory 04. Overall, it is one of the best foundations I have used and will continue to use.

MAC Veluxe Brow Liner £15.50

I was in desperate need of a new brow pencil and this is perfect for what I need. A pencil will last longer compared to a wind up pencil which I previously owned. I like the fact that this brow pencil comes with a brush to shape and tame hairs. I have the brunette shade which is a perfect colour match. The veluxe brow pencil is also available in four other shades, including strawberry blonde, redhead, deep brunette and deep dark brunette.

MAC Mineralize Eye-shadow £17

This eye-shadow is a limited edition from the Lightness of Being collection. It is available in six shades, force of nature (brown), just breathe (light blue), leap (lavender purple), Natural Vigor (champagne peach), spiritual life (pale lemon) and uninhibited (light grey). I have uninhibited, it has such a sparkle and shimmer for a light layer, which can be built upon without a heavy coverage. I love this eye-shadow and simply wish that it wasn't a limited edition. All eye-shadows are half pearl, half frost, which adds such a luster to the product.
