Autumn Buys

Sorry I haven't been writing much lately, as I have had a lot of coursework to do, but it's October half-term so I have a lot more time on my hands.

We all get those autumn blues of needing more clothes for our closets. Autumn is that time of year when we have to adjust from our summer wardrobe and into more warm clothes suitable for the colder weather. Shopping is always a pleasure for me, but when its autumn and winter the weather make it less enjoyable. Online shopping is the most perfect solution, as it involves no hassle or awful weather and there is probably more choice online than in your nearest high street shop.
My recent purchases are just simple tops and jackets that will go with pretty much anything for sixth form. Quick and simple gives an effortless appearance about yourself to other people, it also gives me more time in the morning to get ready for school. In all of the photos, I am wearing my Topshop 'miracle' Joni jeans, which I absolutely adore and I would recommend them to anyone and everyone.
Pull&Bear Top
The top that I am wearing is from Pull&Bear and it is priced at £7.99. This is a reasonable price to pay as the item is soft and comfy. The top has 'I love knitting' printed up at the top, this is the reason I bought it, as I am currently in the middle of a knitted textiles module for my fashion and clothing a-level. I am enjoying knitting and I am starting love it!
Topshop
Top & Cardigan
In this photo, I am wearing a soft v-neck cami that is priced at £18 and a grey fluffy v-neck cardigan that costs £38. Both of these items are available from Topshop online and in some stores. I love both of these items, the cami goes with pretty much anything and the cardigan is warm and cosy, perfect for both autumn and winter. I decided to tuck the cami into the high-waist jeans because it shows off the jeans and gives and 80's inspired look. Students don't forget your 10% discount online and in-store!
Pull&Bear Top
I love this top, it goes with everything! Priced at £19.99 from Pull&Bear. Its one of those items that you will just fall in love with, its different as it has flower detail at the front and at the back its a simple t-shirt jersey fabric. The top is soft and comfy and is a definite recommendation to buy. Bonus, it is easy to dress it up and to make casual for day wear.

                                                  Happy Autumn Shopping!
P.S. Mid Season sales are still on, grab yourself a bargain!

Wildfox Couture

Little Edie Lennon Sweater
I have found one of the most amazing clothing brands yet, Wildfox are an American brand that have unusual sweaters that I absolutely love to pieces. They also sell other items of clothing as well, but these sweaters just caught my eye when I was browsing and buying from asos.com  the other other night. They are expensive, but they are just simply gorgeous! The Little Edie Lennon Sweater is £319, but prices do vary for different designs. I have never seen anything like these sweaters before, they look cosy and comfortable and I really want one! Another design that I like is the All Over Love Lennon Sweater which costs £207. I love the design of this one and it is not just only available in the nude pink but in blue and black as well. The beautiful blue coloured She Love You Rainy Beachouse T is £73 and the colour just pops out and looks gorgeous. I will be saving up to buy one of these lush sweaters in the future. Wildfox clothing can be purchased at many online websites including the following: WildfoxAsosSelfridgesZalando

Urban Decay Make-Up

Urban Decay Naked 2 Eye Shadow Palette

Urban Decay Naked 2 Eye Shadow Palette

Every Girl loves their make-up and I am most definitely a make-up addict. I love to try out new make-up products and experiment different methods of using them. Recently, I decided to buy Urban Decay Naked 2 Eye Shadow Palette because everyone was saying how good it was and how long the eye shadow stays in place for. It was really hard trying to find a website that had it in stock as it is very popular. I am in love with this beauty product, as the colours complement each other. There is a mixture of 12 shades from pale to deep and  matte to sparkly. All perfect for a simple yet dramatic look. The palette is a sequel to Naked, but I do prefer the Naked 2 palette as the shades of shadows are more natural colours. This make-up must-have is priced at £37 and is available at the following: lookfantastic.co.uk, debenhams and  House of Fraser. The Palette also comes with a mini Urban Decay Lip Gloss and a double-ended Good Karma shadow/crease brush.

Urban Decay Naked Basics Eye Shadow Palette

I also decided to purchase the Naked Basics Eye Shadow Palette as it is perfect to carry around with you in your make-up bag. Perfect for any top ups needed throughout the day, because it has some of the same shades as Naked 2. There are 6 shades altogether, they go from pale to deep and are all matte shadows. it is priced at £20 and is also available to buy from: lookfantastic.co.uk, debenhams and House of Fraser. This is a perfect addition to any girls make-up collection and I personally would recommend it to everyone. The palette is very useful and worth every penny.

Both of these items I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a neutral eye shadow palette that will last the day with the occasional top up of make-up. They are both worth every penny as they are extremely good quality eye shadow palettes, that I will be buying again when mine run out in the future. And don't forget as a student discount of 10% at House of Fraser with a valid NUS card and also a 10% off at lookfantastic.co.uk with unidays.
