Christmas Gifts For Her

Christmas present buying is sometime stressful, so I have made a list of 5 items which should help make gift giving a lot easier.

1. Jo Malone Perfume
Wild Bluebell 100ml

Pomegranate Noir 100ml

My favourite scent has to be Wild Bluebell, not to overpowering and floral, as it is a light floral scent. I find that the 100ml for £82 does last for a long time. I do also love their Pomegranate Noir cologne which is the perfect Christmas scent, its quite a sweet and spicy scent. The 3oml option costs £40.

2. MAC Cosmetics Keepsakes Brush Kit
Mineralize Brush Kit

Studio Brush Kit
Extra Dimension Brush Kit
There are three kits available one for Studio products, another for Mineralize products and finally one for Extra Dimension. Each set costs £42, and they vary in brushes specific to each set. These sets are an amazing value for the quality of the brushes and I can't wait to hopefully receive the Studio brush kit on Christmas Day! All come with a neat brush bag.

3. GHD V Rose Gold Styler

GHD's are my favourite hair styling heat tool, they are simply versatile. This set is a limited edition, which comes with the styler and a roll-up bag perfect for  travelling. GHD's are  durable I have had mine for almost seven years and won't need replacing anytime soon, but if they did I would want these. Perfect for your Christmas wish list!

4. Pandora Snowflake Necklace Pendant
Snowflake Necklace Pendant
This charm is simply beautiful and is perfect for any Christmas gift this year. The charm is £45 and will add a touch of sparkle with the intricate crafted snowflake design. This charm is for the purpose of a necklace pendant, but it could also be used for your Pandora bracelet.

5. UGG Australia Layna Long Pile Headband
Layna Long Pile Headband in Moonlight

I am obsessed with fur headbands, they keep me warm on my cold walks to school in the morning. This UGG one is so soft and fluffy I just want to stroke it all day. However it does cost £120 and is currently priced at £96 until midnight on Monday 1st December. It is available in moonlight and black.

Lipsy Rhiannon Boots £85
Rhiannon in Taupe

In Love With Fashion Shearling Gilet

Shearling Gilet in Mink

I bought this gilet from the In Love With Fashion (ILWF) section within Topshop in The Trafford Center a few weeks ago and have loved wearing it. It is comfy and goes with most outfits in my wardrobe, as I mainly have cream and white tops and lots of leggings in black and grey. This is my favourite item to wear for winter now and I do see this gilet lasting for hopefully 3 years. I have the mink coloured shearling gilet, but its is also available in beige and grey.
I simply love the effect of the shearling fabric going from light to dark at the bottom of the gilet. This item is just so soft and warm to wear. I love wearing mine and I hope you do too!

Recent Buys

Here are my recent shopping buys from Zara, Miss Selfridge, Vero Moda and Vila.

The Blouse is available in three colours, grey, black and white. I have this beautiful loose fit blouse in grey and just adore how comfy it is to wear. I love the side panel in chiffon at the side, it makes the blouse more unique.

I have been looking for a big snugly winter cardigan for a while now and once I saw this one in the shop, I just had to buy it. Its extremely soft and I love the colour. This cardigan is available in two colours, light grey melange, which is light grey with a hint of light pink and mint green and a dark grey melange which has a hint of yellow and blue in the wool. I have the light grey, as it goes with more of my clothes.

Perfect for this cold weather and available in dark grey and black. They're the comfiest trousers I've bought in while. Perfect leg length with a zip at the side for getting in and out plus zips at the ankles for added detail. These are a must have of mine!

Zara Cut-Out Tube Dress £25.99

I love the shape and how elegant this dress in when worn. The cut-outs at the side and back adds something sophisticated to the dress. It is comfy to wear is about knee length. But the price is astonishing for a lovely dress like this. I love shopping in Zara, as there is always something I just need to have in my life.

One of my favourite dresses that I have ever bought! It is the most flattering dress I have ever worn, it sucks everything in, including the stomach. I simply love this nude colour, as its a soft nude pink. The dress is also available in black, red, burgundy and assorted with a black top and blue skirt.

Lush Cosmetics

Lush cosmetics are simply irresistible, they smell too good and always look intriguing. Last weekend I decided to buy some Lush products, including some Christmas products (a little too early I know, but they just smell to nice not to buy).

'Do You Wanna Build A Snowman?'
Before
After
(the snowman that I have made)
I love their fun bath/shower play-dough, which can used as shampoo, soap and bubble bath and play. I love this product before, but I used their green fun product, so I couldn't help myself and buy their snowman kit. In the kit you get white, orange and black to make a cute little snowman, I had fun making mine!
The 'Do you wanna build a snowman?' kit costs £5.00 and it lasts quite long, depending how you use it.

Snow Fairy Shower Gel
Snow Fairy 500g
The smell of Snow Fairy is absolutely gorgeous I just had to buy the big 500g bottle. Last year for Christmas, as a stocking present I received the small 100g bottle to try, I simply loved it! There is a small shimmer to shower gel, but it is for Christmas. Snow Fairy comes in three sizes, 100g, 250g and 500g. It costs £3.75 for 100g, £7.50 for 250g and £11.95 for 500g. This is must have during the Christmas season and Lush do a Snow Fairy gift set for £22.50.

Whoosh Jelly
Outside
Inside
The perfect product to relive stress and tiredness from any assignments due and on the run up to Christmas. It has a lovely lavender smell and comes in two sizes 100g and 240g. I have the 100g only because I know its lasts quite long and I don't use it all the time. The 100g costs £350 and the 240g costs £6.95.

Fall-ing in love, October Items

I'm sorry that I haven't blogged in a while, but here are a few items we all need ready for a cold, windy and rainy autumn.

I love these trousers, they're so comfy! They are similar to my Zara trousers which I had previously bought at the end of august (I did a post about these a few weeks back called Get Set for Autumn), as I found out they were 100% a few days after I had bought them, so this pair of trousers from Asos means I can wear them more often and not have to worry about damaging the fabric as much. Top tip: I like to pair them with a black or white/cream strappy top tucked in or a knitted jumper.

This is my favourite colour eye shadow by far! I love the shimmer and glitz of the shadow and the colour is great for a base, as you then use a darker colour at the lid and crease. I use this beauty product almost everyday, I love it so much. I know that it may seem quite a lot of money for one eye shadow, but it does last a while.

This lip balm is the best, the beautiful smell and softness of your lips afterwards. My favourite lip product and the perfect cure for dry lips this autumn!

Miss Selfridge PU Trim Split Back Top £20

This top is perfect this fall, the black trim gives an edge and adds elegant detail. I love the colour and split at the back, I can't wait to get my hands on this top soon.

Get Set for Autumn

This post features some purchases for autumn, with simple neutral colours and and textures of fur and knit. These items are perfect for an autumns day.

Zara Knit Jumper & Silk Trousers

I love this combo, they co-ordinate well together and is my favourite outfit to wear at the moment. The silk trousers have a lovely flow when worn and have pleats at the elastic waistband and the best part are the pockets at the sides. I love this style of a poncho jumper, it feel more relaxed and goes perfectly with the silk trousers, I have the ecru, but it is also available in light pink and ochre (brown/Yellow). The trousers are £59.99 and the poncho jumper is £35.99.

Fiorelli Kayla Mink Hobo Bag

Fur has always been a favourite of my mine that is faux-fur. It is lovely and soft plus big enough for all my school essentials! You can never go wrong with a Fiorelli bag! This beauty is £85 and if you buy from ASOS.com then you get your 10% student discount.

UGG Australia Jocelin Boots

We all love a pair of UGG boots, well I do! These are cute ankle boots with a buckle detail and are £160. They are soft and comfy just like my all my other UGG boots I've had over the years. I have and will always love UGG's!Students can get 10% discount with UGG Australia, Office and Schuh.

Jack Wills Black Leggings

You can never go wrong with leggings, they're just so comfortable to wear and these are my favorite, as they are far thicker than any other makes I have had over the years. They cost £24.50 but students get 15% discount.

My Summer Beauty Favourites So Far...

I'm sorry I have not been blogging recently, I have just been really busy, but I shall be blogging a lot more from now on.

This post is about my favourite beauty products which I have bought in recent weeks and I have tried and tested and I have loved.

MAC Beauty Balm SPF 35 Cream £24

Colour: Extra Light

I love this beauty balm, as I have always wanted to try a BB or CC cream out and I'm thrilled that I have. I love this one, its so easy to apply and not much is needed. Sometimes, I will apply one coat of my foundation after using the BB cream, so I use less foundation on my face.

Colour: NC15
MAC Studio Sculpt SPF 15 Foundation £25
This is my Holy Grail of foundations, its has the perfect coverage and finish and my favourite thing is you don't need much when applying to the face, but two coats is often needed, as I have freckles and redness on the cheeks and prefer a medium to full coverage. Its perfect for summer, as its gives a dewy look and not a matte like the studio fix foundation from MAC.

MAC Pro Longwear Paint Pot in Painterly £15.50
I have oily eye lids, so my eye-shadow doesn't last as long. This is why I decided to give this a go and I really like its, my eye shadow stays on longer and its the perfect colour to suit my Urban decay Naked 2 Palette. MAC do sell the product other colours, but this is a light pinky-nude colour and it was what I was looking for at the time of purchase.

Real Techniques Expert Face Brush £8.99
My favourite foundation brush, its leaves no brush marks and apply's foundation evenly across the face. Don't forget to apply your moisturiser first then your foundation to blend the two together and give you a more flawless look.

L'Oreal Paris Skin Perfection Micellar Water £3.32
This product I bought quite recently and I have been using it every night since then to remove my eye make-up. I am really impressed with this product as has improved my complexion. It is a 3 in 1 product that removes make-up whilst purifying and unclogging pores and soothes and tones skin. Its perfect for sensitive skin as it is hypoallergenic. It is a must-have and must-buy product of summer for me!

Summer Beauty Hitlist 2014

We all need those outstanding beauty products for summer and these are mine.

Featuring MAC, EOS, Moroccan Oil, Urban Decay, Tangle Teezer, Essie, Dermalogica, Real Techniques

1. MAC Mineralize Skinfinish
This is one of the best highlighters around and my favourite one by far! Not much is needed to be applied onto the cheekbones, as it adds a subbtle shimmer to highlight and define the cheekbones. The colour is Soft and Gentle and costs £22 from MAC Cosmetics. Perfect for summer!

2. Essie Nail Varnish
Corals, pinks and oranges are lovely in summer and this colour is too beautiful not to have. The colour is a neon coral called 'come here!'. This lovely bright and bold varnish will make a nail statement this summer for just £10.95 from lookfantastic.com

3. Real Techniques Core Collection
The ultimate make-up brush collection for £20.99 from lookfantastic.com, the collection includes the deatiler brush; used for concealer and lipstick, the pointed foundation brush, the buffing brush and the contour brush which is my personal favourite. Top Tip: when washing brushes use baby shampoo and hot water!

4. EOS Lip Balm
I'm in love and obsessed with these lip balms. My favourite so far is the starwberry sorbet shown in pink above. They each cost £5.99 from Selfridges&Co. Only a few applications are needed for the results of soft and smooth lips.

5. MAC Lipstick
The colour is Sunny Seoul and costs £15 from MAC Cosmetics. I fell in love with the colour instantly, perfect for that nude-pink lip for summer. It gives a cremesheen finsh which is my favourite and to make it last longer, apply a thin lip balm before you apply the lipstick.

6. Moroccan Oil
Perfect for hydrating dry and straw-like hair or even to smoothen and defrizz hair once dried, apply a small amount on towel dried hair before drying. I also find that my hair lasted longer throughtout the day. For 100ml it costs £31.85 and for 25ml it costs £13.45 both priced from lookfantastic.com

7. Dermalogica Barrier Repair
This is my no.1 skincare product, I use it morming and night and it helps to soothe my skin. I love using this moisturiser as it can be used as a primer for make-up. It costs £35.60 from lookfantastic.com

8. Tangle Teezer
The best hair brush by far, gets rid of knots and it doesn't make your hair go static. I love it! The tangle teezer costs £10.20 from lookfantastic.com

9. Urban Decay Naked 3
I have Naked 2, but the Naked 3 eyeshadow palette has more pinky-nudes shadows which I love. I love the fact that Urban Decay eyeshadow as it lasts longer than most other brands, the palette costs £37 from lookfantastic.com

Zara Pencil Skirt

Zara Guipure Lace Pencil Skirt £39.99

Zara have some of the most beautiful garments in their spring/summer collection for this year. I have fallen in love with most of them, but sadly don't have the funds to buy them all. I have just purchased the Guipure Lace Pencil Skirt, which I adore.
Zara Guipure Lace Pencil Skirt £39.99
The sea green colour is beautiful and fresh for this this season. I love the lace detail, it makes the skirt simple and elegant. This skirt can be worn day or evening and be paired with pretty much anything you like. Personally, I would style the skirt with a cami top, maybe cream/white, pastel pink or lilac, heels or sandals and the perfect statement jewellery.

Pink Soda Skort

This is a follow up from my previous post, of myself wearing the beautiful Pink Soda Skort from BANKfashion.
I paired the skort with a neon pink cami, my favourite nude and swarovski carvela heels and unfortunately I forgot to wear my favourite statement neck lace from orelia. However, I know it would look gorgeous with the outift.
I love this outift! One of my favourites for summer! Can't wait to wear it on holiday next week.

Spring & Summer Clothes

Featuring Pink Soda, Glamorous, Blonde & Blonde

Pink Soda Floral Skort
Skorts are the latest trend for this year, I see them everywhere and I really wanted one. I love the neon floral pattern and the colour is beautiful. I can't wait to wear it! They are flattering on the body and make my legs looks thinner, which is a good thing. It would be perfect with a white or neon pink cami top. The skort costs £28 and looks expensive. I forgot to mention that it has a matching top, which I might buy soon!

Pink Soda Embroidered Cami Top
I love cami tops, they are a perfect item for the warm weather. They are versatile and there is no exception to this one. The vibrant coral cami is paired with a pretty embroidered overlay, with a subtle stud neckline. This little two-piece garment costs £28 and perfect for that summers day. I can wear other chiffon cami's underneath the embroidered overlay, this is a flexible garment which I love.

Glamorous Lace Print Dress
This beautiful blue lace shift dress, is chic and perfect for the sixties trend. The sleeveless design is effortlessly beautiful and the fabric is soft and will keep you cool in summer. I love the lace pattern, as it gives detail and dimension to the garment. The dress costs £25 which is amazing value and I would recommend a definite purchase.

 Blonde & Blonde Cutwork Cami
Cream tops are always my favourite coloured tops, they go with everything other than white. This cami is no exception and has beautiful cutwork detailing on the front, which I adore. The lightweight cami costs £18 and is a necessity for your summer wardrobe.
