My Muji Make-up Storage Box

Make-up is just one of those things that clutter up desks, cabinets, draws etc and my mum was always complaining about the mess. I own quite a lot of make-up and I needed something to help my situation, so I asked mum to make an investment in make-up storage! I was looking at ones which costed over £90 but, they were just too expensive. Finally, I found Muji a website that sells all kinds of storage and make-up thankfully happens to be one! Selfridges also stock this range. My whole make-up storage costed £30.40! Amazing! My make is all lovely and organised thanks to Muji.

I now find when I'm applying my make-up on in the mornings, the process is more efficient and less time consuming, as everything is organised and I know where it all is. I love the fact that the storage box is transparent, so I can see my make-up. Hopefully this will last me a few years before it needs replacing. However, I think that I might already need more draws, my make-up collection is growing fast!

What I purchased- 1 x Acrylic Box 1 Draw with Flip-top Lid Wide (£8.50) and 2 x Acrylic Box 2 Draws Wide (£10.95 each)

The top flip-top draw contains Naked 2 eye-shadow palette, Real Techniques Brushes and Sponge, MAC Foundation

The second draw contains MAC Foundations, concealer, powders, blusher and Benefit Primers

The third draw contains all kinds of lipsticks, lip-glosses and balms

The fourth draw contains eye-shadow palettes, CID cosmetics Highlighter, mascaras, Bareminerals and BellápierrĂ©

The fifth draw contains Victoria Jackson palettes, survival kit, Lauren's Way eyelashes and lip blotters

I hope you find this post helpful and make a similar useful investment!

Vero Moda & Vila Clothes

About a week ago, I went to a little boutique called Parkgate in my local town, Congleton. Parkgate have stores in Congleton, Northwich, Nantwich and Winsford and they stock a wide range of designer brands including Vero Moda, Vila, Miss Sixty and French Connection.
I sometimes find absolute gems in boutique shops like Parkgate; it makes a change from shopping in well known high street stores and you can often find something a little bit different. When I went into Parkgate, the staff were welcoming and friendly, this immediately made me feel at ease and I purchased two dresses and a skirt by Vila and a cream jumper by Vero Moda.

Vero Moda Wing Jumper White Asparagus
I love this jumper, it's soft and snugly. Perfect for cold winter days and we head into spring. This jumper is on trend for AW14 and will be perfect for SS14 as well and costs £22. The price is amazing, however I have noticed a few pulls of yarn here and there on the sleeves of the jumper. It may just be the type of yarn or part of the design but, I prefer it this way! It adds texture to the jumper and I will be buying more items from Vero Moda in future.

Vila Filuca Dress
This beautiful dress has an aztec patterned front with short sleeves. It's soft and comfortable purely to the 85% cotton. I love this dress, it can be a day-to-night transformation dress. All you need is a statement necklace, I recommend Orelia jewellery and a pair of black heels. I can't wait to wear this dress! The dress costs £45, the quality is totally worth the price.

Vila Filuca Skirt
This skirt has the same aztec patterned front like the dress. I just couldn't say no! It look fabulous paired with the Vero Moda Wing jumper, a complete outfit and all it needs are cute boots. I pair this outfit fit with my Orelia Scalloped necklace and my outfit is complete. You can also match the beautiful skirt with a cami top and blazer or cardigan. It versatile and costs £22, that is an amazing price to pay for an unusual skirt like this one.

Vila Neonoir Dress

My final purchase was this silky soft long sleeved dress, that is absolutely beautiful. It was originally £45, but it was reduced to £23 in the sale. The dress was worth every penny, I love it so much! The dress is detailed with a suede tie around the waste. It does have a cami dress attached by poppers at the top, due to the garment being delicate and thin. I find it comfortable to wear and there are many options on how to accessorize. I add my favourite statement necklace from Orelia, the scalloped necklace and put a pair of black tights on with some cute black ballet pumps.
