Spring Essentials

I always love spring and summer trends of lace and pastels and for this year the sixties are making a come back. My spring wardrobe is my favourite, no coats or heavy jackets and as many strappy tops and dresses as I desire!

I have searched many websites to find 5 key pieces needed for spring.

1. Miss Selfridge Colour Block Top

This slim fitting pink colour block top is cool and casual and can be dressed up. A perfect day top which can be taken from day-to-night! The top costs £27 and when matched with the right items, will look effortlessly gorgeous. The black side panels that slim you and the pink pastel front, are both key trends of pastels and the 60s.

2. New Look Mint Waterfall Blazer

Mint is the perfect ice cream colour and with this blazer you will look cool and collective. The blazer costs £24.99 and is steal buy at this price. I love the drape detail on the front and it can be paired with pretty much anything such as deep blue skinny jeans with a cami top. I love this blazer and hope to be buying it very soon.

3. Miss Guided Shiraz Strappy Lace Detail Puffball Mini Dress

I love this dress, the lace detailing on the bodice and and the puff ball skirt. It costs £34.99 and comes in the nude shown on this post and black. The nude is more for spring and looks beautiful. You could wear this dress as a day with ballet pumps or sandals and then for night, pair up with a clutch and some heels for the perfect day-to-night look.

4. Topshop Tie-Dye Mesh Insert Dress

This dip dye dress has been ombre dyed in blue and is perfect for spring/summer 14. the gradual ombre dye skirt id joined by a mesh insert to a white cotton jersey bodice. I love the style of this causal dress. It costs £32 from Topshop and is reasonable price to pay. This is one of my must-haves for spring/summer.

5. Orelia Triple Row Necklace

The three beautifully crafted necklaces are finely detailed and elegant. The three necklaces combined together give a colonial summer inspired look. This statement piece will go with many outfits with the teardrops and coin details. The necklace costs £32 and for the price it is worth it, as you get multiple necklaces with varying chains.

Orelia Jewellery Part 2

My latest obsession is Orelia jewellery. I love their jewellery and I can't stop buying! They have too many gorgeous pieces to choose from and I can't help but want them all...

I only two pieces on Monday night and they were at my door this morning (Wednesday), very quick standard delivery and all wrapped up with a cute bow. Once I had opened the package, the inside was all neatly wrapped up with matching tissue paper. I was impressed!

 The diamante collar is simply stunning, as its elegant and a true statement piece. This is an essential piece which adds a touch of colour and sparkle. It will look lovely with knitwear and chiffon tops. It was £25 and is now £5, a proper bargain and I love it! This has to be my favourite piece by far.

 Another simply stunning statement necklace! One of my must-haves that will go with most outfits. The elegant necklace features two rows of ornate scalloped detailing, perfect for those knitted jumpers! It was £25, but is now £6, this is an astonishing price for such a beautiful piece of jewellery. I recommend this, as it is a must-have. I love it!

Beaded Hoop Earrings

These beautiful rose gold coloured earrings are delicate and elegant. They look amazing on, as they shine and sparkle due to the scattered beadwork. I love these earrings a lot and they have to be one of my favourite pairs that I wear. They are comfortable and light on the ears and were £12, but now £6. The price is amazing, as they look rather expensive.

I have two different types of MAC foundation. The mineralize moisture foundation has a lighter coverage than the studio fix fluid. I prefer a lighter coverage during the day that gives a natural skin finish and makes my skin look bright, fresh and soft. I love this foundation! 

The studio fix fluid has a medium to full coverage and is perfect for evenings and any day where I need that extra coverage. It gives a natural matte finish on the skin and makes your skin look smooth with an even skin tone and it''s also long-wearing. This is my favourite foundation!

Both foundations have a SPF15 this protects your skin from sun damage of UVA rays and I wear colour NC15.

Finding the perfect foundation applicator can take some time, but I have finally found the one make-up tool that leaves no brush lines, fingerprints and not uneven foundation coverage. 

Its a multi-functional sponge which I adore! This makes my morning make-up routine take less time. With the rounded end, blend large areas of the face with a repeated dabbing motion. If extra coverage is needed in one spot, press the sponge down onto the same spot and keep using the dabbing motion to get the extra coverage you need. The precision tip is perfect for covering up imperfections and blemishes. Finally, the flat edge is for contours and around the eyes and nose. The miracle complexion sponge is versatile and one of every girl's make-up must-haves.

They are renowned for their amazing make-up and the high beam has always been the one item I have always wanted to buy, so I finally did and I haven't regret my decision. This make-up must have highlights cheek and brow bones. I love it! To apply, dab dots on the cheek and brow bone then, gently massage into the skin. This should give you an luminous look throughout the day.

No matter what foundation you have, you always need a primer to prep your skin for make-up. This should give you longer lasting make-up all day and make your skin look smoother. I love MAC make-up! and this primer compliments my foundation really well. It makes my skin soft and smooth and makes it easier when applying foundation, I use less foundation when I have my primer on. This primer blots away excess oils and evens out redness. My perfect primer in a bottle!

Jewellery is certainly a girls best freind! I have discovered Orelia jewellery, a jewellery brand which makes beautifully designed costume jewellery, which includes necklaces, bracelets and earrings. Available at www.orelia.co.uk and Topshop.

Jewellery has always been a perfect way to accessorize outfits and earrings have always been my favourite! Accessoring has always been an important part to any outfit, whether its a day at the beach or an evening. Either way always accessorize! 

I love going into high street shops including Miss Selfridge and Topshop and browsing at their massive displays of jewellery and trying on different pieces, figuring out what they go with and then finally buying them.

This stunning and delicate piece is from the Colonial Rose Collection and has vintage feel. Pretty and unique, with the detailing set in gold coloured plating, perfect for the new trends next year. These earrings are comfy to wear and look very elegant. Orelia have done well when it comes to designs well crafted stunning pieces of jewellery. Filigree Heart Earrings

I was given these as a christmas gift this year, I these are my favourite pair by far! They are beautifully designed and made, as the clasp hook at the back is secure and can be changelling to undo but, It means they wont fall off. The earrings cost £12 which is very reasonable. These stunning hooped earrings are decorated with a heart outline and a central glass stone. These earrings are delicate but, both beautiful and unique. Usually I would not wear hoop earings, but these are comfy to wear and are just stunning!

I would definitely recommend both pairs of earrings and would also reccommend to browse their website and see if any of their other stunning jewellery takes your eye.

It costs £40, but looks way more expensive. Perfect for all princesses this Christmas! This ring can be used as a single ring or can be stacked with a couple of others. It has a matching My Princess Tiara Pendant Charm which costs £40 and would be a great companion present to the ring. This is at the top of my list this Christmas and I shall have to wait and see.

TFNC London Party Dresses

TFNC London have some of the most amazing, beautiful sequin dresses that I have ever laid my eyes on.
Some of their dresses may be simple with no detail but, I would still wear them as they look so elegant. 

Looking on their website, I have fallen instantly in love with most of their dresses and I don't think that I could say that about other sites!

The amount of detail in each dresses astonishing. They are perfect for party's, special occasions and of course the upcoming Christmas Party season.

The beautiful sequined dress costs £45, it is reasonably priced for a dress so detailed.

This dress has to be my favourite by far, as it is elegant and beautifully detailed.

Cosy Chritmas Jumpers

Christmas is on its way and what's better to wear than a snug Christmas jumper?

It's never to early for Christmas Shopping!

Christmas has to be my favorite time of year, the snow, fireplaces, presents, the list is endless, but of course cosy Christmas jumpers and onesies!

Finding that perfect snuggle-some jumper in time for Christmas is always so difficult, there loads to choose from, it's just not fair! 

I find that it's always better to get them sooner rather than later when all the shops have almost run out.

Autumn Buys

Sorry I haven't been writing much lately, as I have had a lot of coursework to do, but it's October half-term so I have a lot more time on my hands.

We all get those autumn blues of needing more clothes for our closets. Autumn is that time of year when we have to adjust from our summer wardrobe and into more warm clothes suitable for the colder weather. Shopping is always a pleasure for me, but when its autumn and winter the weather make it less enjoyable. Online shopping is the most perfect solution, as it involves no hassle or awful weather and there is probably more choice online than in your nearest high street shop.
My recent purchases are just simple tops and jackets that will go with pretty much anything for sixth form. Quick and simple gives an effortless appearance about yourself to other people, it also gives me more time in the morning to get ready for school. In all of the photos, I am wearing my Topshop 'miracle' Joni jeans, which I absolutely adore and I would recommend them to anyone and everyone.

The top that I am wearing is from Pull&Bear and it is priced at £7.99. This is a reasonable price to pay as the item is soft and comfy. The top has 'I love knitting' printed up at the top, this is the reason I bought it, as I am currently in the middle of a knitted textiles module for my fashion and clothing a-level. I am enjoying knitting and I am starting love it!

In this photo, I am wearing a soft v-neck cami that is priced at £18 and a grey fluffy v-neck cardigan that costs £38. Both of these items are available from Topshop online and in some stores. I love both of these items, the cami goes with pretty much anything and the cardigan is warm and cosy, perfect for both autumn and winter. I decided to tuck the cami into the high-waist jeans because it shows off the jeans and gives and 80's inspired look. Students don't forget your 10% discount online and in-store!

Pull&Bear Top

I love this top, it goes with everything! Priced at £19.99 from Pull&Bear. Its one of those items that you will just fall in love with, its different as it has flower detail at the front and at the back its a simple t-shirt jersey fabric. The top is soft and comfy and is a definite recommendation to buy. Bonus, it is easy to dress it up and to make casual for day wear.
